The Secretary plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of UMMA’s operations. As the primary point of contact for internal and external communications, the Secretary is responsible for maintaining accurate records, documenting meetings, and supporting the coordination of events and initiatives. This role includes preparing agendas, distributing minutes, and ensuring that decisions made by the Shura (executive committee) are clearly recorded and effectively communicated. The Secretary also manages correspondence, supports compliance with governance requirements, and helps facilitate transparent, organized, and accountable leadership within UMMA.
